Headed by Professor Sharifa Sultana, it offers a four-year Honors and one-year Master's program under Dhaka University. The department features a seminar library with 1,500 books, two laboratories, and well-equipped classrooms. The curriculum covers Animal Diversity, Genetics, Physiology, Microbiology, Parasitology, and Fisheries Science.
