Pioneering Psychological Education

The Department of Psychology at Dhaka College, established in 1964, has been a center of psychological learning at both the HSC and Degree levels. In 1998-99, the department affiliated with National University for the B.Sc. Honors program in Psychology. The Masters’ preliminary and final courses were introduced in 1995-96 and 1996-97, respectively. Currently, the department is affiliated with Dhaka University for both Honors and Masters courses in Psychology. With a strong emphasis on academic excellence and practical knowledge, the department prepares students for diverse careers in psychology, research, and counseling, contributing to mental health and social well-being in the country.
