The Department of Accounting at Dhaka College, established in 1972, is one of Bangladesh's most prestigious academic divisions. With over 1,500 students and 14 faculty members, the department offers BBA and MBA programs, providing in-depth knowledge of financial, accounting, and business concepts. The department is equipped with a computer lab and seminar room for practical learning, enhancing students' technical skills. Graduates consistently excel in both public and private sectors, securing top positions. In addition to academics, the department promotes extracurricular activities such as debates, cultural programs, and interdepartmental competitions. It also maintains a strong alumni network, "Accounting Alumni," connecting former and current students. Under the leadership of Professor Md. Humayun Kabir, the department continues to prioritize excellence in education, research, and professional development.
